5 Stars All-Clad LTD 8″ fry pan
My wife loved this at our daughter’s house, so we knew before ordering she would be fully satisfied with the pan, which she is. Primary usage is for cooking breakfast eggs (3 days a week) — but obviously other things also.

5 Stars Best fry pan available
Typical Allclad quality cookware. We like the LTD line because it looks snazzy but all of the allclad frypans are great. Nice even controlled heat, easy cleanup, good release and good fond.

4 Stars All Clad 12″ LTD fry pan (Just the pan)
The 12″ LTD fry pan is my every day fry pan. But if I had to do it again, I would go for either the Stainless or Copper Core versions. While I like the look of anodized aluminum (on the outside), the anodized finish rubs off: it is not as hard an anodized finish like Calphalon’s original commercial cookware line. And this is from using the pans on both an electric and now gas range and also hanging the pots on my cache rack. The Stainless fry pan is just as heat reactive as the LTD line (I have LTD, Stainless, and Copper Core pieces) but is not as heavy as the Copper Core line, and is less expensive than the Copper Core line.

PROS: Good weight, heats evenly, right every day use size. A 12″ cover is available separately for braising or steaming.

http://www.amazon.com/All-Clad-Stainless-12-Inch-Fry-Pan/dp/B00005AL6Y/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_i

CONS: The anodized finish is not resistant to scratching when compared with Calphalon’s original commercial line.

1 Star WARPED
I thought it was a nice griddle until it warped 3 months later. I have a ceramic cooktop and it did work for a while. Now I have to send it back..

3 Stars Made in China
Since when did All Clad start making so many of their products in China and why isn’t this noted in the item description? It makes a difference to me. I try to buy American when possible and am annoyed when it comes marked “Made in China” when I expect an American made product. I think we deserve a complete description of the product when it has been an American made product for years and suddenly there are more and more pieces coming from China. You can’t tell when the piece will be from America or from China until it shows up. Amazon, most other internet shopping services have gotten on board with this and I would like this noted in your description.

All Clad Stainless 7 Inch Nonstick Fry Pan

by pots and pans on May 9, 2009

All Clad Stainless 7 Inch Nonstick Fry Pan

The bestseller among All-Clad’s renowned cookware collections, the Stainless line provides serious and professional cooks all the virtues that make All-Clad’s worldwide reputation unsurpassed. Key to its high performance is a three-ply, bonded construction. Sandwiched between layers of stainless steel is a thick core of pure aluminum that spreads heat evenly across the bottoms of pots and pans and all the way up the sides. The exterior is gleaming, magnetic stainless steel that works on induction as well as conventional stovetops, and, with care, remains beautiful during this cookware’s lifetime warranty against defects–and beyond. Certain pieces, like this one, have two interior layers, one of 18/10 stainless steel and the other of scratch-resistant, professional-grade nonstick coating bonded to the steel.

This classic, slope-sided fry pan makes clear why All-Clad’s Stainless nonstick line is so popular. It’s 7 inches in diameter, perfect for saut?ing a salmon fillet with little or no fat or conjuring up a quick broth-based sauce for a healthful meal. Its polished 18/10 stainless-steel handle is riveted to the pan for strength, grooved on the top and rounded on the bottom for comfort, and holed in the end for hanging on hook or peg. The long handle stays cool on the stovetop but won’t be harmed by an oven’s heat. Although Stainless cookware is dishwasher-safe, nonstick pieces should be hand washed. –Fred Brack

5 Stars great small pan
Does just what you want it to do. Great for cooking eggs for 1 or 2 people. Super easy to clean. Handle stays cool, nonstick is indeed nonstick. All-Clad is no bargain, but I think you get good value for the money. No warping, consistent even hear across the cooking surface of the pan, easy to clean, and a truly stay-cool handle. And lasts well for years.

5 Stars Great Fry Pan!
Not only is All Clad stainless cookware superb, the nonstick is superb as well! I am not a fan of nonstick in general however I make an exception with fry pans. Eggs and cheese are just so much healthier when they are cooked with less oil. That being said I have the 7, 8 & two of the 10 inch All Clad nonstick fry pans and I couldn’t be happier with them. I have 2 of the 10 inch so I can make two 3 egg omelets at the same time. I find the 10 inch is perfect for 3 eggs, my husband and I prefer our omelets loose or slightly runny versus dry and this is a great size for that, it is also great for several scrambled eggs or breakfast sausage. The 8 inch is perfect for a 2 egg omelet or scrambled eggs and the 7 inch is perfect for 1 or 2 eggs or sausage. The 7″ is a great fry pan for just about any small item you could imagine. You will love it!

All Clad fry pans (and the entire All Clad cookware collection) are first class, top quality, well made, designed to last and come with a lifetime warranty. Make sure you only use silicone (my choice), nylon or wooden utensils and hand wash only. The hand washing is a breeze since this nonstick collection is made so well… All Clad makes more sense for your wallet and the environment and wouldn’t you rather use “cr?me de la cr?me” professional quality cookware than junk? I know I would!

Highly recommended! A+++!

5 Stars KitchenAid pots and pans are the BEST
I have been so impressed with my collection of KitchenAid pots and pans. The quality is superb, and the prices that I’ve bought them at have been extremely affordable. This particular pan, the nonstick 8 inch skillet, is just fantastic. It heats evenly, has the perfect weight, has a cushy handle that stays cool, and can even go in the dishwasher. This is my favorite pan for cooking eggs in. I bought a large non stick skillet later on, at full price, I liked this smaller pan so much. There is no reason to spend piles of money on expensive pots and pans, when you can get KitchenAid products instead. Highly Recommended!!!

4 Stars Nice Pan
I used to use Non-Stick a lot, but now I only use it for an occasional (use SS for that mostly too)omelette and crepes. It is a nice sturdy pan with comfortable rubber grips on the handle. Obviously food rarely sticks and it is a quick clean up.

Because of the non-stick and rubber handle it is not as versatile as a clad pan but it fully meets expectations.

5 Stars Does what it’s supposed to do.
Supposed to cook omelets perfectly and it does. Omelet slides right out of the pan. Easy to clean up. What else can an omelet pan do?

5 Stars recommended by Cook’s Magazine equiptment reviews!
This French skillet is the winner in the trials detailed in Cook’s magazine!

See the Jan./Feb. 2009 issue p. 32

5 Stars One of my most-used skillets
A perfect non-stick skillet. I have one of these in 10-inch and it’s just as great.

Betty’s Devilish Deviled Eggs Recipe

February 4, 2009

In this video, Betty prepares her version of deviled eggs. They are quick and easy to make and are a comfort food that often gets overlooked!

Ingredients:

4 eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons pickle relish
salt and pepper
paprika

Using a medium to large pot, bring enough water to a boil to cover the 4 eggs. When the water boils, place each egg carefully with a utensil into the water. When the water returns to a boil, cook the eggs, with the water bubbling lightly for 15 minutes. Remove the pot from the stove and drain off the boiling water from the eggs. Now, shake the pot, so that the eggs are cracked against the sides of the pot. Immediately cover with cool water to stop the cooking of the eggs. The eggs will be cool enough to handle, so you now can easily remove the shell of each egg. Slice each egg in half horizontally. Dig out the half yolk of each egg and place them into a small mixing bowl. Add the mayonnaise, pickle relish, and salt and pepper to taste, and mix well. Stuff each of the 8 hollow cooked egg whites with the yolk mixture. Sprinkle paprika on top (to your taste). Serve! They will disappear fast!!!
