5 Stars My mom loves it!
My mother requested one for her birthday. I did a lot of research and ended up with this one.
She loves it and says it is no fail.
5 Stars Great investment–and versatile!
Since I eat poached eggs about five days a week, I decided to splurge for a “dedicated” poacher. I wanted it to have at least 4 stainless egg cups (NOT nonstick coated) and a clear glass lid. When I read the reviews for this poacher I realized it would more than fit the bill–and I am not disappointed!
First, the egg cups are a generous size and even my jumbo eggs don’t overflow the cup–a big plus! Second, as someone suggested, by simply swirling around a bit of oil or butter from one cup to the next, the cups easily release the eggs with a simple run around the edge with a butter knife. Even though the black knobs on the cups are “stay cool” they DO get hot, so be careful if you use them to remove the cups from the pan. I also like the tiny vent hole for allowing some of the steam to escape from the pan. I did notice that a fair amount of steam also seeps out from the sides of the glass lid. Speaking of the lid, it’s great to be able to see the eggs cooking. I definitely think my eggs take less time to cook in this poacher than the flimsy insert I was using–and having a clear lid helped me to determine this.
Another great feature is the pan itself. It is a nice size and weight pan, and having the option to use it without the poacher insert is a big plus. It’s a very generous size pan that complements the stainless set I use every day.
All in all I am very pleased with this purchase and am glad I made the investment!
5 Stars Happy with this purchase
Good quality dual purpose. The pan has a heavy bottom that can be used to fry or anything else you choose. The poachers are great because they have a cool to the touch little ball handle that makes lifting them from the pan an easy and pleasant experience.
5 Stars What I’ve needed for a long time!
I can’t believe that I’ve been dealing with a three-egg maximum teflon drop-in to poach my eggs, when I could have had the ease of this stainless steel egg poacher. It took my husband complaining about getting one eggs benedict when my growing 13 year old son was getting two for me to finally search for something else. I’m so glad I came across this Krona Deluxe. Now I can poach five eggs at a time, have the eggs slide right out of the poachers and then just put the whole contraption in the dishwasher. No more hand “scrubbing” teflon after trying to juggle an egg out with two spoons. This is the bomb!
5 Stars Eggzackly what I needed
The pan is very sturdy and I like that it has a glass lid. It cleans easly as do the little egg holders. I use it several times a week. It takes about 6 minutes to do an egg and if you use pam they come right out of the holders. The only bad thing I can say is that I thought it was for 4 eggs but when I got it, it had 5 egg cups. A little larger than I wanted but still I’m very happy with it.

5 Stars Love it
I was unable to find an egg poacher locally and resorted to shopping online. After much research and reading a number of reviews I purchased the Norpro poacher. I couldn’t be more pleased with the product. The quality is excellent and is easy to clean. I had previously bought the little egg rings for $5 each and threw them away after a few uses because they were so hard to clean up.
