Slow cooker is a very useful cooking appliance to create delicious meals. You could gather many different slow cooker recipes to get ideas.

Slow cooker is sometimes called the crock pot. This is an electrical kitchen appliance capable of cooking meals in a low temperature. You could easily prepare for gourmet for the whole family using this. It cooks on slow temperatures to tenderize meat. This process is done to avoid overcooking or burning.

Meat is submerged in water or any mix while it slowly tenderizes. The liquid evaporates slowly in low heat. At the same time, the meat is able to absorb the flavors of the mixture. Even if you cook your meal in a longer period of time, the taste of the food would not change.

Not all foods will taste good when cooked with a crock pot. This is important to note so that you will be guided accordingly. Hence it is important to gather recipes and see which ones are okay with a slow cooker.

Try to experiment on your own also and see if you could deviate from some recipes. This is important so that you and your family can enjoy a new kind of recipe. You can also make your own recipe using your slow cooker. You just have to be very keen enough that you make the very delicious recipe and that can be your specialty that can be enjoyed by your family.

There are recipes you will find that is good to serve for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Even vegetarians can make their own slow cooker recipe to enjoy. You actually have large option of slow cooker recipe to experiment.

The very common slow cooker recipe is the roast beef. Almost everyone loves it. Many people yearn to learn how it is done. It is a part of a beef cut and roasted usually done in an oven. It is commonly put in sandwiches or served with rice or potatoes. This is also the traditional Sunday dinner for some places in Europe, Australia and America. This is often served with a side dish called the Yorkshire puddings.

You might be surprised to know that roast beef will taste better and more delicious when it is done through a slow cooker. Your family can surely enjoy a new taste of roast beef if you have done it through slow cooker.

Of course, before cooking you should have the complete ingredients. The main ingredient is the boneless beef, seasonings and garnishing. To start the process, the first thing to do is to take off all the fats of the beef. Afterwards, cut the beef to smaller pieces to fit the crock pot.

Put the vegetables in the slow cook, and then the meat comes next. Create a mixture of water, sauce, beef granules and basil. Pour the mixture over the vegetable and the meat. After doing these, you are ready to put on your slow cooker. On high temperature you can have your roast beef done in 5 to 6 hours but in slow temperature, this can be done in 10 to 12 hours.

You can always improvise whatever you have in your refrigerator and replace the ingredients mentioned. Cook it suitably to the preferential taste of the family. Some would make it a bit spicy and put peppers or diced chili. Others like the flavor of meat to really come out and will just add sparse seasonings.

With today’s busy lifestyle, it is hard to find the time to cook healthy foods and serve them to your family. Long gone are the days when mom was home with all day to prepare dinner. If your days are a rush of work and commuting, you may think that there is not any time to cook tasty, appealing meals for yourself and your family. There are products that can make this possible. Look at some of the cooking accessories that were designed to help you create quick, healthy, and flavorful meals.

You do not have to resort to canned and frozen convenience meals to serve up a healthy, tasty plateful of spaghetti carbonara. All you need is the Pasta ‘n’ cooking set. The revolutionary design of the Pasta ‘n’ More lets you cook spaghetti, linguine, and other pasta in the microwave in about half the time that it takes to cook it on the stovetop. The Pasta ‘n’ More set also includes a steamer so that you can quickly steam fresh vegetables to go with dinner, or prepare fish that is tender and flaky. The clever design even incorporates a measuring tool in the handles of the microwaveable pasta pot so that you can measure out exactly the number of servings that you need. The five-piece set includes the pasta pot, straining lid, expander ring and storage lid. You even get a recipe book to help you plan healthy meals for your whole family.

If you are looking for a quick way to cook a meal for your family, you should consider the GT Xpress 101. The GT Xpress 101 is a two-sided grill that cooks your food from both sides at the same time. It is ideal for making sandwich pockets in minutes, or for grilling meats and fish. Two deep pockets hold your ingredients in individual wells, and the unique design cooks and seals sandwiches at the same time.

Another grill substitute is the Sunbeam 4-in-1 Electric Grill, which combines a grill, griddle, waffle iron, and sandwich maker into one handy cooking accessory. You can use the Sunbeam electric grill to sear and grill meats or fish. This grill is also perfect for making waffles, or creating your own nifty filled sandwiches. You can save both time and money when you leave the Hot Pockets on the shelf and pick up meats, vegetables, and cheese to create your own healthy alternatives with the Sunbeam 4-in1 or the GT Xpress 101 Grill.

Many nutritionists will tell you that steaming is the healthiest way to cook your vegetables, but who has the time or energy to mess with a steamer inset for your saucepan? The 3-Tier Steamer is the ideal solution. The 3-Tier Steamer is designed to let you steam a full meal for yourself or your family. The stackable steamer makes it easy and quick to make healthy meals with vegetables, rice, fish and more with just a few minutes of preparation. Even better, the juices from your food may drip into the collection pan so you can use it to make savory gravy to perk up your dishes.

Why heat up your kitchen and waste energy by using a full-size oven when there are so many great choices for countertop ovens out there? Today’s countertop ovens have come a very long way from the conventional toaster oven you remember from your mother’s kitchen. A countertop 3-in-1 oven can cook with three different power sources such as radiant heat, convection, and infrared, alone or in combination. You may be amazed at how quick and easy it is to cook in a countertop oven. Your food is also more flavorful when it is not subjected to the drying heat of a conventional gas or electric oven. The secret is that the foods cook from the inside out as well as searing the outside to keep the juices inside the food. With creative cooking techniques, you can cook anything you would cook in a conventional oven, but it can be finished and ready to eat much faster.

In addition to major cooking accessories that cut into your meal prep time, you should also benefit from having a few smaller products on hand. Here are some accessories for your kitchen that can cut down on your food preparation time.

- A boiled egg slicer can be used to cut perfect even slices in any soft food such as cheese, tomatoes, boiled eggs, and onions. It is so much easier and quicker than trying to cut with a dull knife.
- A food chopper lets you chop vegetables, meats, and herbs for your meals in seconds. Why use a bulky food processor when all you want to do is dice an onion or a carrot? All you need is a handy little spring-loaded tool to cut your chopping chores down to size.

5 Stars great for tamagoyaki
This little pan is a great size and shape for tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette), and of course the cast iron heats evenly and holds the heat. You can do all sorts of small stuff with it, as others have mentioned. Handy when you’re cooking for one.

5 Stars Terrific Grilled Cheese Pan
Or for any other times when you want to just whip up something fast for supper and don’t want to lug out your big cast iron skillet(s).

It’s the 4th piece of Cast Iron cookware I own, the 3rd by Lodge.

4 Stars Novel
More a novelty than useful. Sometimes you want just one sandwich (although I can’t remember that time). This also works well for toasting pine nuts, walnuts or something else you just want to toast quickly on a hot skillet. I am sure if I let my imagination go, I will come up with other ways to use this. For now, it makes a great grilled cheese sandwich.

4 Stars perfect for its size
I luv this little pan. Read the specs and get a ruler. Great for a single sandwich.

5 Stars A bit large but still works fine.
This little gem makes a good sized scrambled egg square for sandwiches with no egg hanging down. While a little large for standard “wonder type” bread I simply found a bread large enough to fit. A 5″ by 5″ square sourdough bread at my local W Superstore. It comes sliced or unsliced Two eggs scrambled works fine when paired with sliced ham and a slice of cheese. The whole sandwich can then be grilled in the still hot skillet in which the eggs were cooked. I am amazed at the comments about the size being so small when the description clearly stated the size as 5“square. 5′ is the same the world over, so why the surprise. As for the coating peeling off, simply re-season the skillet. It is a simple matter and any owner of cast iron knows this procedure is periodically required if the old seasoning is washed off intentionally or comes off by accident.

3 Stars simplicity
The main reason for selecting this particular panini pan is the fact that it is not another electric appliance. Living on an island in Maine, we ofter lose power and rely on gas cooktop for meals. This pan adds some variety for grilling of sandwiches and lots of other things, too. Helpful hint: for best results make sure pan is sufficiently hot before adding sandwich or meat. Press is extra heavy!

5 Stars wow! what a pan!
i have an apartment so my stove burners arent huge. but this pan fits perfectly and is VERY well made especially that press. i used to BE a cook and very much miss my grill press it does wonders getting stuff flat so it can cook. this was easy to clean i cant WAIT to use it for everything i have planned just starting with panini. highly recommend!

5 Stars Makes great Panini’s
I would recommend highly this. I struggled between getting an electric one and this one, and I’m happy I went with this one. It makes great Panini’s and is easy to clean.

5 Stars A Quality Pan With Many Uses
This pan is excellent. It heats quickly and evenly, and makes panini in just minutes. The nonstick surface is quick to wipe clean. I got this pan because I didn’t want another electrical appliance taking up space in my kitchen. The pan more than does the job. I have also used it to cook steaks, and it works great for that, too. I highly recommend this product for quick hot sandwiches, and as an occasional substitute for an outdoor grill. It’s a quality pan.

5 Stars Best Pan Ever!
I bought this pan and press for my parents as a Christmas gift. We have used it daily for the past three days to make panini, toast stollen, make garlic bread slices, and we are making lamb chops on it for dinner tonight. The lid is heavy, as it should be, to hold down bulky ingredients, and the pan is not too heavy and has a stay-cool handle. The rectangular shape and size make it perfect for grilling two sandwiches side by side, even if you are using big slices of bread. I’m on line right now to buy myself one! Mom has dubbed it “Best Pan Ever”. I did a lot of research and for the money, you cannot beat this pan for weight, shape, size, ease of use and ease of cleaning, and versatility. Not by a long shot!

2 Stars Buckles with heat
When I bought this I’m pretty sure reviewrs said it didn’t buckle. However, it ALWAYS buckles when I put it in the oven, even at moderate temps like 350.

5 Stars Great pan
Very sturdy and easy to clean. I don’t like the indent around the inside edge.

2 Stars Shiny but warped
As noted by other reviewers, these warp badly — pretty much anything over 350 degrees, and even 350 is dicey. Not necessarily a problem if you are only using for cookies, but not useful for anything else!

One alternative is Chicago Metallic professional-grade large jelly roll pans from Chef’s Catalog (2 for $30); Costco also used to have a set of 3–4 professional-weight cookie/jelly roll pans even cheaper, so keep an eye out for those!

4 Stars Nice, but …
I should have looked around a little more because there is a better deal at Costco for the money and the quality. This baking sheet is nice, easy to clean, but thin.

1 Star Not worth the money!!!
This is absolutely the worst baking sheet that I have ever owned. Every time I put it in the oven it warps. So today I tried baking a maple pecan pie, and all the syrup ran off on one side of the pie because as soon as I put it in the oven, it warped again, and then the pie tilted to one side. So now all my pecans are on one side of the pie shell.

This is definitely not worth the 8.99 that I spent for it. I’m putting it in the recycling bin RIGHT NOW!!! I wish there were some way that I could give less than ONE star.

Crafted of hard anodized aluminum, this two-piece Panini press includes a thick, nonstick pan that provides fast, even heat distribution, as well as a heavy-duty press with a generous loop handle for adding pressure on top, leaving food with tasty, blackened grill marks. Working much like an outdoor grill, only faster, it not only gives sandwiches a delicious crunch and an even browning, the cookware also nicely grills meats, veggies, and fish. Its polished stainless-steel handle is secured to the pan by stainless-steel rivets for strength, rounded on the bottom for comfort, and holed in the end for hanging on a hook or peg when not in use. Both the lid’s handle and the pan’s long handle stay cool on the stovetop and won’t be harmed by an oven’s heat. The cookware should be washed by hand, which takes little effort due to its nonstick grill. Made in the USA, the Panini pan measures 8–3/8 by 10–3/8 inches with the press measuring 8 by 10 inches and both pieces covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

5 Stars Wow — what a great kitchen tool.
I am so excited to use this grill. So easy to use and clean and is very well made. Try a grilled sandwich or grilled vegetables, shrimp or fish. I really love it. Fast and makes everything really tasty.

4 Stars Not the All Clad you know
It works and clean up was easy as it’s non-stick. The press is very heavy due to being a cast iron. Though its Chinese made, tt seems very sturdy. It made nice grill marks.

Usage:

Brauts/Saugages

1 Star excellent product and service
i love my all-clad panini pan with press, it’s just what i expected. the price was right and the service was great. thanks!

2 Stars Not the best All-Clad
I got this pan for free b/c I bought so much All-Clad. I love the rest of it, but this pan has brought me nothing but trouble. I do agree the sides are a little short. I also think it is awkward to hold and move around. Also, it says non-stick, but if you keep reading it says you need to use a little oil. Frankly, I think they give it away for a reason.

5 Stars cookwear
A must have for any kitchen. A beautiful pan that will last for years. Makes beautiful sandwiches. Highly recommended.
