2 Stars Leaky – waste of money
This is a pretty pan with a big quality problem – it leaked from day one and due to the leak problem sits pretty much unused in my pantry.
Save your money – buy a better quality product.
1 Star Leaky
This is the leakiest springform pan I have ever used. What a mess, butter from the graham cracker crust seeped out. Plus the pan is flimsy. Don’t waste your money, go with the Frieling Glass Bottom pan-it doesn’t leak and has a sturdier glass base.

Cooks shopping for midweight stainless-steel cookware at a mid-range price may well have found their match with this cookware set from Cuisinart. Equipped to handle most common cooking tasks, the 14-piece set includes a 1-1/2- and 3-quart covered saucepan, an 8- and 10-inch covered skillet, a 4-quart covered saute with helper, and a 9-quart covered stockpot, as well as a 7-3/4-inch covered steamer insert and 9-1/2-inch covered pasta steamer insert.
As part of Cuisinart’s Chef’s Classic line of cookware, all pieces are made of 18/10 stainless steel that has been polished to a brilliant mirror finish and that won’t react to acidic foods. An inner core of aluminum ensures that foods heat quickly and evenly without hot spots that can burn foods. The riveted stainless-steel handles on the cookware stay cool on the stovetop and the matching 18/10 mirror-polished stainless-steel lids seal in moisture and nutrients for healthier, more flavorful results. In addition, the cookware pieces provide tapered rims for drip-free pouring and all pieces are dishwasher-safe. 2 Stars Waste Of Money
I used it 2x two different pans an both times the bottom inside got stained nasty an i can not remove it. terrible i wrote to the company an everything. i would not recommend this to anyone an i am very very disappointed that i wasted my money!!!!
5 Stars Owned for over 2 years. Very happy!!
I’ve owned this set for over two years. We have not babied this cookware; it’s used a lot. The pots, pans and lids are always washed in the dishwasher and turn out sparkling clean. They’ve also had burnt foods and drips down the side and bottom which comes right off with a little, and I do mean a little, elbow grease and bar tenders friend. The inside of the pans is scratched from the metal utensils I’ve used but do you really want the inside of your pot or pan to be pristine? The outsides and bottoms of the pans ARE pristine. My daughter is currently completing a wedding registry and I am HIGHLY recommending this set to her. Could I give a better recommendation?
5 Stars Great Price and a great set of pans
Great set of pots and pans. Nice weight a pan for just about everything. Food does not stick in it and it cleans up easy. I love them and would really recommend them. Amazon had the best price, I did some shopping around and Amazon always delivers in a timely manner and I have never had a problem with anything I have ever purchased from them. These pans are very worth the money.
5 Stars Beautiful, Durable Cookware!
After much deliberation, I decided to buy this 14-piece set. Really, some of the reviews were scary. I went to our local Bed Bath and Beyond just to hold the cookware and check it out. I fell in love with it.
I have had the pans a few months now and they look like the day I pulled them out of the box (thanks to Bar Keepers Friend). They heat well and evenly and look wonderful. We are building a rack to hang them up in the kitchen so they aren’t clanging and banging around in the cupboard. I highly recommend this set!
4 Stars nice set for the price
I hastily purchased this set, after reading all the reviews, during the limited 1 hr gold deal, with literally 40 seconds to spare. I am sure glad I did. It was a bargain at $140. I’m replacing old non-stick coated pans for safety sake. I do notice how much more evenly these heat up and also how much hotter they get, so I have to turn the temp down a little bit. In a previous review, I saw a photo of a pot that was damaged due to boiling water in it. Come on. I don’t see how that could be possible with these or any other metal set. Mine boils water better than perfectly
The handles do stay cool to the touch. I wish the large frying pan handle was a little broader though so that it would be a little easier to pick it up full with more stability, but that’s minor once you get use to it, considering the price. These are very shiny and I want to build a nice hanging rack for them to be displayed and easily accessed. There were reviews about the large strainer insert for the deep kettle being too small/short for the deep kettle. There is a 2″ space between the bottoms, just like another brand I have. I like that so I can boil 2 inches of water for steaming large amounts vegetables, like a whole head of cauliflower and/or broccoli and also use the smaller steamer insert on top for whatever else. I’m glad I didn’t spend a lot of money on this set that will last me for many years.

Lodge Logic Skillet

Made by the cast iron experts at Lodge, this revolutionary pan is preseasoned, so it’s ready to cook right out of the box. It’s perfect for making virtually anything from bacon and eggs to grilled sandwiches, pan-fried fish, and fabulous cornbread. Each has dual pour spouts and a helper handle.
Lodge Logic’s new preseasoning process penetrates the metal’s pores thoroughly and uniformly, so it looks and performs better than traditional home seasoning. You still get the even heating, superior heat retention, and inherently stick-resistant finish that has made cast iron cookware a favorite of professional chefs. Oven safe. Made in the USA.

5 Stars Excellent Product
I’ve had this pan about a month now and couldn’t be happier with it. Great for frying, searing, and slow cooking over the stove top. Used skillet out of the box and have had no problems with rust, sticking, or cleaning. Just make sure the skillet is preheated well (I wait till the handle holds a fairly high heat) and use a little oil/cooking spray before and after use. I found some other tips on the Lodge website and find the care to be rather simple. I would also recommend a heavy duty oven mit to use, especially when using at high heat or in the oven. This skillet is an American made product that will last me a lifetime and at this price you can’t get any more bang for your buck.
1 Star Waste of money – worst ever ast iron
I’ve had cast iron, and kept it in good condition for years. I decided to replace my regular pans with cast iron recently and went with Lodge because it was cheaper than what I’ve bought in the past-since I was getting multiple pans, I didn’t want to buy top of the line, just too much money. Instead I threw all that money away. Bottom line is no matter what you do, all food sticks to Lodge like no other cast iron I’ve used. When you soak it in warm water for an hour to try and get the food to unstick, you come back and the water and pan are rusty. ONLY ONE HOUR!!!!!!! I was more careful with the second pan, soaked for 30 minutes. The water was not rusty but when I was wiping it out with a dry towel, orange rust color covered my towel. I could not see the rust w/o looking really close under bright light but every time I touched it with something white, it came off orange. Three skillets and two lids – all the same problem.
5 Stars best ever
My wife and I couldn’t be happier with this skillet. We’ve got a set of copper pans (which we only use during fancy dinners when we’re preparing food with company over) and they dont do any better a job than this skillet. Dont use soap to clean the skillet (it breaks down the seasoning), rather let it cool down to a handle-able temperature after use, run hot water over it while you scrub it with a brush, then heat it back up to ‘medium’ on the stove, add a little bit of olive or vegetable oil. spread it over the surface and let it cool down. wipe up the excess with a paper towel and you’ll continue to have a perfectly seasoned pan for a very very long time.
4 Stars Back to basics cookware
Although it comes pre-seasoned, it’s wise to cook a few rounds of bacon on it before you attempt to make pancakes or eggs on this. To clean, never EVER use soap, just boil a pot of water and swish a stiff brush (non-metallic) around to get rid of grit. Throw the dirty water away, then put it on low heat until all the remaining water evaporates. If you’re anal about sanitation and hygiene, you can swish some salty, hot water to get rid of food gunk.
Every two or three months, remember to cook bacon in it (you don’t have to eat it! Just buy some cheap bacon and let it heat in the pan over medium-high heat, rub all over the sides and bottom with the lard) and this pan will outlast your great grand children.
The reason I’m giving this four stars is that it is really heavy for tiny people and if you’re trying to pour something into a plate, you have to use both hands – and remember the pot holder!
4 Stars Good Skillet
I’m happy with my skillet. Things haven’t been sticking much and it’s all metal, so I can make Dutch Babies in the oven.

1 Star NON STICK TO THE PAN COATING!!!!
AFTER 2 MONTHS OF USAGE THESE JUNK PILES STARTED PEELING AND BUBBLING…..WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY.I CONTACTED THEM AND HAVE NOT HEARD BACK YET AS TO WHAT THEY WILL DO YOU MAKE THIS RIGHT!DO NOT BUY!!!!
1 Star RIP OFF!!!!!!!
My husband got me this set for Christmas. I was so excited to have a calphalon set. After only a couple uses the non-stick coating started to bubble and peel off. I used the sauce pan once to boil water and it was completely damaged. We paid $134, what a waste of money. I dont even use the other pots in the set because I fear they’ll be damaged as well. Dont waste your money.
1 Star non-stick doesn’t stick to the cookware
I ordered this set right when I saw it based on the Calphalon brand. We’ve taken great care to avoid overheating the cookware and have always used plastic utensils, but the non-stick surface on every pot has started peeling off within 1 month of purchase. I’d send the stuff back, but the shipping on a set this size just isn’t worth it, given the low price. Now I’m wondering if I should every get taken by Calphalon again.
Don’t be tempted by this–get a good set of stainless pots instead.
1 Star awful awful awful
the nonstick coating after 3 MONTHS USE is peeling off after bubbling. Did anyone get their money back?
1 Star calphalon simply enamel 12p set
I am totally disapointed in this product. Used the large pot once, and the nonstick started bubbling up. The smallest frying pan was used very lightly, about 5x for about two months. The nonstick was starting to peal around the edges. Calphalon is a GREAT company and I own a couple of their items. I think this may be a knock off. Also, the pot that states is a 4qrt is really a 2qrt. Do not buy this item.
