Fried pumpkin with honey and rosemary
This is probably the easiest way to cook a pumpkin. But do not forget about rosemary and garlic – they will give the pumpkin a special taste and aroma.
Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g of pumpkin
- 30 g of butter
- 1 tbsp. honey
- sprig of rosemary
- clove of garlic
- salt (to taste)
Pump a pumpkin and cut it large, you do not need to remove the skin. In a large frying pan, melt the butter, add pumpkin, cut a branch of rosemary and lightly crushed clove of garlic. Fry 5-7 minutes, then add the honey and continue to fry until it is caramelized, salting to taste.
Pumpkin baked with cheese and French mustard
Another very simple and delicious pumpkin recipe, for which you will need an oven. Only 30 minutes and a delicious diet dish is ready.
Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g of pumpkin
- 1 tbsp. L. vegetable oil
- 100 grams of hard cheese
- salt, pepper (to taste)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- few sprigs of parsley
- 2 tbsp. French mustard
Pumpkin wash, cut the peel and cut the pumpkin into large cubes. Transfer into a bowl, add salt, pepper and vegetable oil, mix well. Transfer the pumpkin into the baking tank, add crushed chives of garlic, sprinkle with grated cheese, put it in a preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped parsley.
Stewed pumpkin with cottage cheese
This is a great snack, which you can, how to start the day, and finish it. Depending on your preferences and mood, pumpkin can be smoothed out both with salt and with sugar.
Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 300 g of pumpkin
- 300 g cottage cheese
- 20 g of butter
- salt or sugar (to taste)
- pinch of cinnamon
- few sprigs of parsley
Pumpkin wash, peel and cut into small cubes. In a saucepan with a thick bottom, melt butter, add pumpkin, cinnamon, salt or pepper, stir 3-4 minutes, add a little water (1-2 tablespoons). Once the pumpkin is slightly soft, remove it from the heat and cool it at room temperature. Serve with cottage cheese and chopped parsley.
Roast pumpkin with potatoes and pork
In this recipe, the hot pumpkin perfectly complements the potatoes and gives a sweetish note to the whole dish. Try it, it’s very tasty.
Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 400 g of pumpkin
- 4 large potatoes
- 400 g of porcine pulp
- 3 peppercorns
- 1 bay leaves
- salt (to taste)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- sprig of basil
Pumpkin and potatoes wash and clean, then cut into cubes. Meat is cleaned from fat and films and cut into small pieces. In the brazier, heat vegetable oil, fry pork, add a pinch of salt, then add pumpkin and potatoes, fry another 1-2 minutes, add pepper, bay leaf and 50-80 ml of water.
